Moist, tender, and full of flavor, this Pecan Banana Bread combines the natural sweetness of ripe bananas with the buttery crunch of toasted pecans. Every slice is perfectly soft with just the right amount of nuttiness, making it a warm and comforting treat for breakfast, snacking, or dessert.
INGREDIENTS
4 Bananas, overripe
½ cup Unsalted Butter, softened
¼ cup Sugar
¼ cup Brown Sugar, packed
2 Eggs, room temperature
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 ½ cups Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Salt
1 cup Pecans
INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease your 9x13 pan.

In a bowl mash your bananas.

In a large bowl, cream together butter and both sugars until fluffy.

Add in bananas, eggs, and vanilla. Mix well.

Fold in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

Stir in pecans. You can stir in the full cup or set some aside to put on top.

Pour batter into the pan and bake for about 40-50 minutes or until bread is set. A toothpick should come out clean.

I pour in the full cup of pecans and then add some on top.

Baking time will vary depending on the type of pan you use and your oven.

You can use a loaf pan; you will need to increase baking time.
- If you want to add in chocolate chips, we did 1/2 cup pecans and 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
