INGREDIENTS
-
1 package Puff Pastry
-
1 cup Chopped Pecan Pieces
-
¼ tsp Salt
-
½ cup Brown Sugar
-
2 tbsp butter, melted
-
⅛ cup Light Karo Syrup
-
2 Eggs
INSTRUCTIONS
-
Preheat the oven to 375F. Spray your muffin pan.
-
In a medium sized bowl, melt the butter and add in brown sugar, karo syrup, eggs, and salt. Mix well, then stir in your pecan pieces and set aside.
-
Unroll your puff pastry and cut into 12 or 24 evenly sized pieces. Note: depending on if you are using a regular or mini sized muffin pan.
-
Press the puff pastry into your muffin pan. Fill each pastry with filing. Note: you should be able to use all the filing.
-
Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the pastry starts to turn a golden-brown color.
-
Remove from the oven and let cool. Serve and enjoy! Note: if the filing overflowed some while baking you may need to use a knife to help remove the pastry from the pan.
